At Redemption Hill, we’re a church family, and what we’re able to do together depends on each of us stepping in with our gifts and callings. Ministries don’t happen without the body of the church serving—and the more helpers we have, the lighter the load is for everyone.

Serving is also one of the best ways to get connected, especially if you’re new. Right now, we have urgent needs in our Nursery and Kids areas, including help with check-in/out or serving directly with children. All lessons and materials are prepared, and the time commitment is minimal.

There are many other ways to serve too—as a greeter, with students, or behind the scenes. Where is God calling you to invest?

During this class, you'll learn about Redemption Hill's mission, beliefs, values, and ministries. You'll also have the opportunity to meet church leaders, ask questions, and discover ways to get connected.

Whether you're considering membership or simply want to learn more about the church, Discovery is the perfect first step.

If you've placed your faith in Jesus but haven't taken the next step of baptism, we'd love to talk with you.

Baptism is a public declaration of the new life we have in Christ, and it's always one of the most joyful Sundays of the year.

If you're interested in being baptized, please contact the church office or complete the online interest form below.

And church family—even if you're not being baptized yourself—make plans to be here as we celebrate what God is doing in the lives of others.

We will share a potluck meal beginning at 5 PM, so plan to bring your favorite dish to share!

Manitou Park Recreation Area

Pack a picnic and join us for a relaxing day of fellowship, outdoor fun, and time together in God’s creation!

Family Fellowship Day is an opportunity for our church family to slow down, build relationships, and enjoy a beautiful day together. Whether you are new to Redemption Hill or have been part of our church for years, we would love for you to join us.

We will begin with a brief time of welcome, prayer, and worship before enjoying games, fishing, picnics, and free time throughout the park.

Planned Activities

Activities will include yard games and family-friendly competitions such as:

• Cornhole
• Potato sack races
• Three-legged races
• Egg-and-spoon races
• Lawn darts and Spikeball
• A photo scavenger hunt
• Fishing
• Additional informal games and activities

You are also welcome to bring a favorite lawn game, football, Frisbee, or other outdoor activity to share.

What to Bring

Each family should bring:

• A picnic lunch for your family
• Lawn chairs or a picnic blanket
• A refillable water bottle
• Sunscreen, hats, and weather-appropriate clothing
• Comfortable shoes for outdoor activities
• Any lawn games, footballs, Frisbees, or other activities you would like to share
• Fishing gear and a valid fishing license, if you plan to fish
• Paddleboarding equipment and properly fitted life jackets, if you plan to paddleboard
• Any medications or personal items your family may need
• A method of payment for parking -$11

Helpful Optional Items

You may also want to bring:

• Extra camp chairs to share
• Bug spray
• A wagon or stroller for younger children
• Hand wipes or sanitizer
• A light jacket or rain layer - depending on the forecast
• A cooler for your family’s food and drinks

The church will provide large jugs with water and cups, but families are encouraged to bring their own water/water bottles. Please label personal games and equipment with your name.

Adults who plan to fish or help children fish should have the appropriate fishing license.

Church Van Transportation

A limited number of seats will be available in the church van for those who need transportation.

The van will:

• Leave Redemption Hill Church at 9:30 a.m.
• Leave Manitou Lake at 1:00 p.m.
• Return to the church at approximately 1:30 p.m.

Advance registration is required to reserve a seat (see button below). Please note that the van will leave before the event officially concludes at 2:30 p.m.

Ready to take the next step in your faith journey? Join us for the Next Steps Class, designed for those who have completed Discovery and want to learn more about belonging, growing, and serving as part of the Redemption Hill family.

Redemption Hill Church is exploring interest in the Colson Fellows Program, a Christian worldview formation program designed to help believers grow in wisdom, deepen their faith, and live faithfully in today’s cultural moment.

At this time, we are simply gathering names of those who may be interested in learning more. Completing this form does not commit you to participating in the program.

Once we have more information about meeting dates, times, expectations, and next steps, someone from Redemption Hill will follow up with those who have expressed interest.

Trail Life Troop 68

Trail Life USA is a Christ-centered outdoor adventure program that equips boys to grow in character, develop leadership skills, and deepen their faith through Biblical discipleship and hands-on experiences.

Troop 68 meets every other Monday beginning September 14 at 6:00 PM.

Motherhood is better together. Join us for MomCo, a welcoming community for moms of all ages and stages. We meet on the first and third Thursdays, beginning September 3, 2026 from 9:15–11:00 AM.

Come enjoy honest conversation, encouragement, and connection with other moms.

Cost is $75, which helps cover supplies and childcare.
