Serve with Us

    Together, We Grow

At Redemption Hill, we’re a church family, and what we’re able to do together depends on each of us stepping in with our gifts and callings. Ministries don’t happen without the body of the church serving—and the more helpers we have, the lighter the load is for everyone.

Serving is also one of the best ways to get connected, especially if you’re new. Right now, we have urgent needs in our Nursery and Kids areas, including help with check-in/out or serving directly with children. All lessons and materials are prepared, and the time commitment is minimal.

There are many other ways to serve too—as a greeter, with students, or behind the scenes. Where is God calling you to invest?

Rooted in Truth. Fueled by Prayer.

    Saturday, March 7 | 8:30AM–2:00PM

    Cost: Free

    Childcare will be available

Join us for a one-day Spurgeon Seminar exploring the life, ministry, and spiritual practices of Charles Spurgeon, one of the most influential pastors and evangelists in church history.

This seminar is hosted in collaboration with Pikes Peak Baptist Association, Colorado Southern Baptist Convention, and Breathe Reformed Baptist, and is designed to encourage pastors, ministry leaders, and church members alike.

Throughout the day, we’ll explore topics such as:

    • What drove Spurgeon’s passion for evangelism
    • Prayer as the foundation of his ministry and spiritual growth
    • How Spurgeon’s theology shaped healthy church growth
    • Applying Spurgeon’s convictions to ministry today

The seminar will include three main teaching sessions along with breakout discussions for deeper reflection and conversation.

    Facilitated by: Dr. Matthew Perry

Dr. Matthew Perry has served as Lead Pastor of ARBC since 2011. He has served in churches in Florida, Kentucky, and Colorado in several capacities from children’s ministries to lead pastorates. He married the love of his life, Cindy, in 1998. They have four children. He received his Doctorate of Ministry from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY, and his Ph.D. from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City.

His favorite passage of Scripture is Colossians 1:28-29: 'Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.’ Visit his blog All-Around Spurgeon.

Whether you’re a ministry leader, a student of church history, or simply someone who wants to grow deeper in faith, this seminar offers rich insight and practical encouragement.
