Our beliefs are centered on the truth of God’s Word and the transforming power of the Gospel.
Our Core Values
At Redemption Hill, everything we do is built on these five values:
God is the Creator and Ruler of everything. He exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three in one. (Genesis 1:1, Ephesians 4:6)
Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and rose again to bring salvation. He will return as King. (Philippians 2:6-11, 1 John 4:14-15)
is equal with the Father and the Son as GOD. The Holy Spirit lives in every believer, guiding, teaching, and empowering us to follow Jesus. (Acts 1:8, Romans 8:14-16)
Salvation is a gift from God—not something we earn. It comes through faith in Jesus alone. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 1:16)
The Bible is God’s Word, inspired and without error. It is our ultimate guide for faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16, Psalm 19:7-10)
People are created in God’s image to be like Him in character. We are the most important part of His creation. Even though we have great potential for good, we all have a problem called sin. Sin is when we disobey God, and it separates us from Him. (Genesis 1:26-30, Acts 17:26-31, Romans 3:10-18, Colossians 1:21-22)
God made people to live forever. We will either spend eternity with Him in heaven or be separated from Him in hell. Heaven is a place of eternal life with God, and hell is eternal separation from Him. (Matthew 25:31-46, John 14:1-3, Hebrews 9:27-28)
Baptism is a way for Christians to show their faith in Jesus. It represents His death, burial, and resurrection. Baptism does not save a person, but it is a step of obedience to Jesus. It is a public way to show that a person has decided to follow Him. (Matthew 28:19-20, Luke 3:21-22, Romans 6:3-4)
Communion, or the Lord’s Supper, is a special way for Christians to remember Jesus’ sacrifice. The bread and the cup represent His body and blood given for us. Communion does not save us, but it reminds us of Jesus’ love and our faith in Him. (Matthew 26:26-30, Mark 14:22-26, 1 Corinthians 11:23-29)
Redemption Hill follows a Co-Pastor Model, where two pastors share leadership equally.
Our pastors work side by side to teach, disciple, and lead, ensuring a Christ-centered, team-based approach to ministry.
At Redemption Hill, our brand symbol—the Stevedore Knot—is more than just a design. It represents: a powerful representation of our God, our faith, and our community.
Traditionally used in maritime settings for its strength and ability to secure heavy loads, this knot reflects how Christ holds us firm, binds us together, and anchors us in truth and grace.
More than just a practical knot, its design points to deep theological meaning. The three interwoven strands forming the knot symbolize the Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three in one, eternally united in perfect love and purpose. Just as the strands come together to form a single, unbreakable structure, we believe that God’s presence in our lives provides the direction, strength, and endurance to live life abundantly under His grace.
Each of the three colors in our knot further reinforces this truth:
🟡 The Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit woven together.
🔵 Strength in Christ – Jesus secures and holds us together.
🟠Community & Mission – We are bound together in faith and purpose.
As a church, we are woven together by the love of God, strengthened through community, and grounded in the unshakable truth of Christ.
The Stevedore Knot serves as a visual reminder of our connection to God, to one another, and to the mission He has called us to.
