Frequently Asked Questions

New to church? It’s all good. We’re here to help you what to expect (and what not to expect). Don't worry, Redemption Hill is a welcoming place with welcoming people! Learn more here.

  • This is my first visit. What should I expect?

When you arrive, a greeter will welcome you and open the door for you. We have coffee, donuts, and fruit at the welcome center and a friendly face who can answer all your questions.  The double doors lead into our worship center. Our Sunday service is at 10:30am, lasts about 90 minutes, is filled with Christ-centered music from our worship band, and includes a compelling message from God’s Word brought by a member of our pastoral team.

  • What do you have for kids and teens?

We offer Kids Church for K-5th grade in the Big Room on the west side of our campus. Of course, we are happy to accommodate children of all ages in our worship service if you prefer to bring them with you to service. If a parent needs to take a young child or baby out of the worship service, we have nursery and preschool care during service. If you have students (6th-12th grade), they will join you for worship service. We do offer a Sunday morning Bible study for students on Sundays at 9:15am. This Bible study is taught by a group of skilled teachers led by the Family Discipleship Pastor, and they rotate on a weekly basis.

  • Do you have ministries for senior adults?

Yes! Senior adults are the backbone of any local church, and we are no exception. Carl Stults leads a Tuesday morning Bible study at 10am, accompanied by a traditional hymn sing at 9am.

  • How can I stay up to date with what’s happening at Redemption Hill?

There are lots of ways to stay connected to what is going on at Redemption Hill Church. One way is by subscribing to our weekly newsletter. Also, we encourage you to download our church app. Also, be sure to follow us on social media @redemptionhill719 on Instagram and Facebook.

  • How should I dress for church?

Redemption Hill is a familial, casual atmosphere. A majority of our people dress in casual shirts and tops. Jeans are popular and welcome. A small handful of our older members dress more formally, but that is by no means the expectation when visiting us. Feel free to dress comfortably, but modestly.

  • Do you have small groups or Bible studies?

We offer a variety Sunday AM Bible studies for every type of person. During the week, in-home Life Groups serve to help you grow in your faith and go deeper with a small community of believers. If you’re looking for more information on that, come by the welcome center after service and we’d be happy to answer your questions and get you connected!

  • I have questions about giving and finances. Who can I talk to about this?

We are committed to financial integrity and transparency. You can find out more about giving options on our giving page. If you have more questions or you would like to speak with someone about matters related to our annual church budget, send us an email at info@rhccs.org.

  • I have a few more questions. Where can I get answers?

You can email us at info@rhccs.org or call us at (719) 596-4461. On Sundays, we invite you to stop by our welcome center in the church lobby where a member of our staff will help answer your questions.
